My Dad always said that if he had one bit of advice

then it was to, “Do more of what makes you happy.”

I am a freelancel photographer based in London where I live with my wife and daughters.

A conservationist at heart, with a degree in zoology, I spent my early years trying to work on anything that would get me closer to wildlife. Passing up the chance to run an eco resort in Lamu, Kenya, I instead spent almost a decade in the British Army as an infantry officer.

Always with a camera in hand, my first exhibition was compiled from images taken during my time as a frontline soldier in Afghanistan. Supported by Bonhams, London, the exhibition raised thousands of pounds for wounded servicemen and gave me the confidence to explore a change in career. Jumping from one kind of shooting to another, I left the army in 2017.

Since then I have been fully committed to photography and it has been an incredible ride. My portfolio is diverse, from portraits and travel, to interiors and weddings. I have been lucky to enough to have worked for, and built relationships with a fantastic variety of clients and it is the building of these relationships that is one of the things I have enjoyed the most. I feel endlessly lucky to have been able to turn a passion in to a career and am always keen to explore new collaborations and clients.

From private client to corporate I aim to build lasting creative relationships, and it starts with an email, so do get in touch.
